NYTRO™ MegaRAID®

The Nytro™ MegaRAID® application acceleration for DAS card is designed to accelerate applications economically with a solution combining leading RAID performance from direct-attached storage and intelligent caching using onboard flash storage. It provides the foundation for a complete solution of solid-state storage and HDDs for both performance and capacity. Many customers are looking for ways to increase their storage performance, but retain their current investment in direct-attached storage. Flash technology has become almost synonymous with speed, but it comes at a price premium over hard disk drives (HDD). The Nytro™ MegaRAID® card combines flash technology with LSI’s industry leading RAID-on-Chip (ROC) implementation. Using intelligent caching algorithms to help identify application “hot spots”, frequently accessed data is stored and accessed from flash enabling the lowest possible latency. By combining flash and HDDs, this solution is designed to enable the lowest cost/GB at the lowest cost/transaction over products supporting only flash memory.

Nytro Solution Free Trial Terms

  1. All applicants must accept these terms. No purchase is necessary to participate.
  2. Applicants must complete and submit an on-line application to be eligible to participate.
  3. Application for entry to the free trial program is available until December 31, 2012.
  4. Free trials will be provided to eligible applicants selected by LSI at its sole discretion.
  5. All applicants accepted by LSI will be required to accept LSI’s Evaluation License Agreement prior to receipt of the trial products.
  6. One free trial per company applicant accepted by LSI unless LSI agrees otherwise.
  7. Each set of products provided for the free trial has a retail value, contact LSI for the retail value of your preferred evaluation. No cash alternative is available. Receipt of the trial products may be deemed as a taxable benefit. All taxes associated with the receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the recipient. LSI advises the recipients to contact their tax advisor.
